Getting There

  • Train

    From Tokyo Station, take the JR Tokaido Line towards Atami. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Yokohama Station. Once you arrive at Yokohama Station, follow the signs to the East Exit.

  • Walking

    After exiting Yokohama Station, head towards the bus terminal and look for the Minato Mirai Line. Follow the signs to the subway entrance and take the Minato Mirai Line towards Motomachi-Chukagai Station. It takes about 6 minutes. Once you arrive at Motomachi-Chukagai Station, exit the station and walk towards the Chinatown entrance.

  • Subway

    If you prefer to skip the train, you can take the Yokohama Blue Line subway from Shin-Yokohama Station. Take the train towards Sugita and get off at Kannai Station. Transfer to the Minato Mirai Line and get off at Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The total travel time is approximately 30 minutes.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take the bus from Yokohama Station. Look for the bus stop for the city buses and take the bus number 99 or 211 towards Chinatown. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Chinatown' stop.
