Wakasa Seaside Park: A Serene Oasis in Naha, Okinawa

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Wakasa. Head east on Route 58 and follow the signs for Naha. Once in Naha, continue on Route 58 until you reach the intersection with Route 331. Turn left onto Route 331 and follow this road for approximately 5 km. Look for signs indicating Wakasa Seaside Park, which will be on your right. There is ample parking available at the park, but please be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, begin at the Wakasa Bus Terminal. Board the Naha City Bus line number 9 or 11. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Wakasa Seaside Park bus stop. From the bus stop, follow the pedestrian signs toward the park entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Wakasa, you can reach Wakasa Seaside Park on foot. From the main street, head towards the coast and follow the walking path along the waterfront. The park is located at 3 Chome-19 Wakasa, which should be clearly marked. This walk is approximately 15 minutes and offers scenic views along the way.
