Visitors can explore various buildings, each telling its own story, from merchant houses to samurai residences, providing a comprehensive view of the socio-economic fabric of the time. Don't miss the Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum, opened in 2022, to delve deeper into the history and significance of Ichijodani. The museum showcases a vast collection of artifacts unearthed from the site, providing valuable insights into the lives of the Asakura clan and the townspeople. Every August, the Echizen Asakura Sengoku Festival and the Echizen Asakura Manto Night take place on the ruins.
