From central Wakasa, head northeast on Route 27. After approximately 15 minutes of driving, you will reach Tsuruga city. Continue on Route 27 until you see signs for Akebonocho. Turn left onto Akebonocho. The Sarutahiko Shrine will be on your right shortly after you enter the neighborhood.

Take the JR Hokuriku Main Line from Wakasa Station towards Tsuruga Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tsuruga Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take the community bus heading towards Akebonocho. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Akebonocho stop, and the Sarutahiko Shrine will be a short walk from there.
