Car
If you are driving from Yamanashi, head towards the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道). Take the expressway and follow the signs for Fujikawaguchiko. Once you reach the Fujikawaguchiko area, exit at the Kawaguchiko Interchange. From there, follow Route 139 towards Fujinomiya. Continue on Route 139 until you reach the city of Fujinomiya. Once in Fujinomiya, follow the signs for Mount Fuji (富士山). Drive on towards Kitayama, where you will find parking areas available near the base of Mount Fuji.

To reach Mount Fuji via public transport, start by taking a train from Yamanashi to Fujinomiya Station. You can take the Fujikyu Railway from Otsuki Station to Fujinomiya Station. Once you arrive at Fujinomiya Station, you can catch a bus heading to the 5th Station of Mount Fuji. The buses run frequently, especially during the climbing season. Make sure to check the bus schedule at the station for the latest timings. When you get off the bus, you will be at a starting point for climbing Mount Fuji or enjoying the views.
