    Ropeway

    The primary way to reach 鳥兜駅 is via the 蔵王中央ロープウェイ (Zao Chuo Ropeway) from 温泉駅 (Onsen Station) in Zao Onsen. The ropeway ride takes approximately 7 minutes and 30 seconds, ascending 524 meters over a distance of 1,787 meters. A round trip ticket from 温泉駅 to 鳥兜駅 costs approximately ¥1,800 for adults and ¥900 for children.

    Walking

    From the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, walk approximately 5 minutes to the 蔵王中央ロープウェイ温泉駅 (Zao Chuo Ropeway Onsen Station). From there, take the ropeway to 鳥兜駅. The walk from the bus terminal to the ropeway station is relatively flat and easy.

    From Yamagata Station, take the 山交バス (Yamako Bus) bound for 蔵王温泉 (Zao Onsen). The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes and costs ¥1,000. Get off at the 蔵王温泉バスターミナル (Zao Onsen Bus Terminal), then walk to the 蔵王中央ロープウェイ温泉駅 (Zao Chuo Ropeway Onsen Station).
