Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Aqaba, head south on the King Hussein Street (Route 15). After approximately 5 km, turn right onto the coastal road. Continue straight until you reach the area marked on GPS as GXFX+VQG. There is a parking area nearby. Make sure to check for parking fees if applicable.

• Public Transportation

  From the center of Aqaba, you can catch a local bus that runs along the coastal route. Look for buses heading toward the southern beaches. Inform the driver that you want to get off near the Tank Wreck area, which is close to GXFX+VQG. The bus fare is usually around 1-2 Jordanian Dinars. After alighting, you will need to walk about 500 meters to reach the Tank Wreck.

• Walking

  If you are already near the coast or at a beach resort, you can walk to the Tank Wreck by following the shoreline southwards. The walk may take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your starting point. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to the Tank Wreck, as it is a popular snorkeling site.
