Getting There

  • Car

    From Azraq Castle, get onto the main highway (Desert Highway, Route 40) heading south towards Wadi Musa. The drive will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the signs for Petra (Wadi Musa). Once you reach Wadi Musa, navigate to the Al-Siq location at 8FF4+5FW. There is parking available near the entrance to Petra.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a taxi or a shared minibus from Azraq Castle to the nearest bus station in Ma'an. The cost for the taxi should be around 30-40 Jordanian Dinars. From Ma'an, catch a bus to Wadi Musa. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and cost around 5-10 Jordanian Dinars. Once in Wadi Musa, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Al-Siq at 8FF4+5FW.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Wadi Musa, from the bus stop, walk towards the Petra Visitor Center. The walk takes about 20 minutes. Follow the signs towards Petra, and once you reach the Visitor Center, you will find the entrance to Al-Siq nearby.
