Walking
From the Petra Visitor Center, follow the main path leading into Petra. As you walk, you'll pass the Siq entrance, which is a narrow gorge that leads to the ancient city. After walking through the Siq, you'll emerge at the iconic Treasury. To reach The Treasury from above, continue past the Treasury and take the path leading to the High Place of Sacrifice. After a steep climb, follow the trail signs to the viewpoint.

Once at the High Place of Sacrifice, you will find a scenic viewpoint. From there, look for a trail that descends towards the area above the Treasury. Follow the trail markers and be cautious of the rocky terrain. This route may take you through some narrow paths and ups and downs, so ensure you have sturdy shoes and plenty of water.
