Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Wadi Rum Village from any location in Badia. Use the main road (Route 15) and follow the signs for Wadi Rum. Once you reach Wadi Rum Village, continue on the road until you see the sign for Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp. The camp is located at GCQM+VQQ, which is approximately 7 km from the entrance of Wadi Rum Protected Area. You may need to pay a small entrance fee (about 5 JOD) at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center. After paying, continue driving to the camp, where you can park your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp using public transportation, first take a bus from any major city in Badia (like Ma'an or Aqaba) to Wadi Rum Village. Buses typically leave from central bus stations and cost around 2-3 JOD. Once you arrive in Wadi Rum Village, you can either walk to the camp (approximately 30 minutes on foot) or hire a local taxi, which should cost around 5-10 JOD to reach the camp. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before getting in.
Taxi
If you're already in Wadi Rum Village, the easiest way to reach Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp is by taking a taxi. Taxis are readily available, and the ride to the camp will take about 10 minutes. The fare is usually around 5-10 JOD, so be sure to negotiate the price beforehand.
Shuttle Service
Some hotels in Badia offer shuttle services to Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp. Check with your hotel for availability and costs. This option is convenient as it provides direct transport to the camp and may include a guided tour of the area.
