Car
To reach Petra from Dana Village by car, start by driving southeast on the road leading out of Dana. Follow the signs towards 'Wadi Musa' or 'Petra'. After approximately 24 kilometers, you will arrive at the junction where you should turn right onto the main road leading to Wadi Musa. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Petra. The entrance to Petra is located in Wadi Musa at the address 8F9M+M38. Parking is available near the entrance, and be prepared for an entrance fee of around 50 JOD for adults.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, first, head to the Dana Village center where you can find shared taxis (service taxis) that go to Wadi Musa. The shared taxi ride to Wadi Musa will cost around 7-10 JOD per person and takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you can easily walk to the entrance of Petra, which is well-marked. Be sure to check the schedule for shared taxis as they may not run frequently, especially during off-peak times.
