    Getting There

    Walking

    Start your journey from the entrance of Petra. Head towards the Siq, the narrow gorge that leads into the ancient city. Walk through the Siq until you reach the Treasury (Al-Khazneh). From the Treasury, continue straight ahead, passing through the main street of Petra. You'll see the theater on your left. Keep walking until you reach the Colonnaded Street. At the end of the street, turn right and head towards the Royal Tombs. After visiting the tombs, make your way back to the main path and head towards the exit of Petra, but before exiting, take a left past the Petra Museum. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the main road. Follow the road signs towards Wadi Musa. Walk towards حي الفلحات and look for an area near the Civil Defense office. مطل is located at the coordinates 30.3225° N, 35.4716° E, which is a short distance from here.

    If you are starting from the Petra Visitor Center, exit the center and follow the main path leading into Petra. Continue straight until you reach the Siq and follow the previous instructions through the Siq and to the Treasury. After enjoying the view, walk through the main street and follow the directions to the Royal Tombs as mentioned earlier. After visiting the tombs, retrace your steps back towards the exit while keeping an eye out for the signs pointing towards Wadi Musa and حي الفلحات where مطل is located.
