Walking
From the Petra Archaeological Park entrance, head towards the Visitor Center. After passing the Visitor Center, follow the main path leading into the park. Continue walking straight towards the Siq, which is the narrow gorge leading to the Treasury. Just before you reach the Siq, look for a sign indicating the path to the Viewpoint Petra. This path will be on your left and will lead you uphill. It is a moderately steep walk, so take your time and enjoy the scenery. The Viewpoint Petra is approximately a 30-minute walk from the main path, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Treasury and the surrounding area.

Walking
Alternatively, if you're exploring the area around the Royal Tombs, you can also access the Viewpoint Petra from there. From the Royal Tombs, walk back towards the main path and look for the signs that direct you to the Viewpoint. This route is slightly longer, approximately 40 minutes, but it offers a different perspective of Petra. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
