Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Dana Village, head south on the main road (Route 15) towards the Dana Nature Reserve. Follow the signs for the reserve. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Wadi Dana Eco Camp. Turn right onto the dirt road that leads to the camp. The camp is located about 3 kilometers down this road. Please note that the road may be rough in places, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Wadi Dana Eco Camp via public transportation, first take a shared taxi (service) from Tafilah to Dana Village. This ride costs around 2-3 Jordanian Dinars and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Dana Village, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Wadi Dana Eco Camp, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi ride should cost approximately 5 Jordanian Dinars. If you're walking, head south on the main road towards the Dana Nature Reserve and follow the same directions as outlined for driving.

    If you are in Dana Village and prefer to walk, exit the village heading south. Follow the main road (Route 15) towards the Dana Nature Reserve. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for the sign for Wadi Dana Eco Camp. Turn right onto the dirt road. The camp is approximately 3 kilometers down this road. Make sure to carry water and wear suitable footwear, as the terrain can be uneven.
