From Dana Village, take the main road south towards the town of Shobak. Follow the signs for the Desert Highway (Highway 15) and continue south. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit for Wadi Musa. Follow the signs to Petra, which is around 10 kilometers from this point. The drive takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please note that you will encounter tolls on some routes.

From Dana Village, you will need to first get to the nearest bus station, which is in the town of Tafila. You can either take a taxi or arrange for a local driver to take you to Tafila (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Tafila's bus station, look for a bus headed to Wadi Musa. The bus ride to Wadi Musa takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Buses run several times a day, but it’s advisable to check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, it's a short taxi ride or a 15-20 minute walk to the entrance of Petra.
