Car
If you're driving, start from the main road in Hamamat Ma'in and head northwest towards the Dead Sea highway (Route 65). Continue on Route 65 for about 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Jerusalem. Follow the signs and merge onto Route 1, heading towards Jerusalem. Once you reach Jerusalem, follow the signs for the Old City. The Burnt House is located in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, specifically at 2 Hashmonaim Street. Parking is limited, so look for designated parking areas nearby.
Public Transportation
To take public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Hamamat Ma'in. Look for buses heading towards Amman or Jerusalem; bus number 13 operates frequently to Jerusalem. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, transfer to the light rail or a local bus that goes to the Old City. Get off at the City Center and walk towards the Old City entrance. The Burnt House is within walking distance from there, located in the Jewish Quarter. Follow signs or ask locals for directions to Hashmonaim Street.
