Getting There

    From Mujib Nature Reserve, head south on the main road (Route 65) towards the town of Karak. After about 30 kilometers, look for signs to Route 15, which will direct you toward Wadi Rum. Follow Route 15 for approximately 70 kilometers until you reach the Wadi Rum Village. There is a small fee for entering the Wadi Rum protected area, which is around 5 JOD per person. Once in Wadi Rum Village, you can park your car and arrange for a local jeep tour or camel ride to explore the desert.

    From Mujib Nature Reserve, you will need to take a taxi to the nearest bus station in Karak. This taxi ride will cost around 15-20 JOD. Once in Karak, you can catch a bus to Wadi Rum Village, which runs several times a day. The bus fare is approximately 5 JOD. Upon arrival in Wadi Rum Village, you can hire a local jeep or camel for further exploration. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for return trips.
