If you are driving, start your journey from Amman. Head south on the Desert Highway (Highway 15) towards Madaba. Take the exit towards Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve, which is well-signposted. Follow the signs to Wadi Mujib, and you will reach the entrance of the reserve. Parking is usually available at the entrance, where you may need to pay a small entrance fee (around 5-10 JOD). Once parked, you may need to walk a short distance to the trailhead for Wadi Mujib The Upper Trail.

To reach Wadi Mujib using public transportation, you can take a bus from Amman to Madaba. Buses leave from the South Bus Station in Amman and cost around 1-2 JOD. Once you arrive in Madaba, you can hire a taxi to take you directly to the Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve entrance. The taxi ride should cost approximately 10-15 JOD. At the reserve, you will find a designated area to park and start your hike on the Upper Trail.
