When you reach the end of the Siq, you'll see the Treasury. From here, continue straight past the Treasury and take the path leading up to the right towards the High Place of Sacrifice. At the High Place of Sacrifice, you will find a sign indicating the Back Door hiking route to the Monastery.

Once you are at the High Place of Sacrifice, begin your hike along the well-marked trail. The path is rocky and inclined, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. Follow the signs that direct you toward the Monastery. You will be walking through beautiful scenery, with views of Petra and the surrounding mountains. The hike typically takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace.
