Getting There

    If you are starting from the Petra Archaeological Site, exit the site through the main entrance. Once you are outside, head straight down the path towards the main road. As you reach the main road, turn left onto Tourist Street. Continue walking along Tourist Street for about 15 minutes. You will see the Petra Visitor Center on your right side. It is a prominent building and often has several tourists around it.

    If you are in Wadi Musa town, locate Tourist Street, which is the main road leading to the Petra entrance. Walk towards the direction of the archaeological site, and you will find the Petra Visitor Center after approximately a 10-minute walk. It is also on your right side as you approach the entrance to Petra.

    From the Petra Museum, you can walk back towards the main road. Turn right once you reach the main road and follow it for about 5 minutes. You will see the Petra Visitor Center on your left side before you reach the entrance to Petra.

    If you are staying at a hotel nearby, ask for directions to Tourist Street, which most hotels are familiar with. Walk towards Tourist Street and follow the road signs. The Petra Visitor Center is located along this road and is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from most hotels.
