Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Petra, head straight down the Siq, the narrow gorge leading into the archaeological site. Walk through the Siq for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the end where you will see the magnificent Treasury (Al-Khazneh). After admiring the Treasury, continue walking straight along the main path. Keep walking for another 600 meters, passing by the Street of Facades on your right. Once you reach the Great Temple, take the path that leads left towards the Qasr al-Bint. Follow the signs and you will arrive at Qasr al-Bint, which is located slightly off the main path to your left.

Most tours include a knowledgeable guide who will lead you through the major sites, including the Treasury, the Roman Theater, and Qasr al-Bint.
