Walking
Starting from the Petra Visitor Center, head past the entrance gates and walk straight along the main path leading into Petra. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads to the Treasury. As you exit the Siq, take a moment to admire the stunning view of the Treasury before moving forward. From the Treasury, continue walking along the main path towards the Street of Facades. After about 300 meters, you will reach the Theater; take time to explore this impressive structure. From the Theater, continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Great Temple area. Here, you will find various paths leading towards the Winged Lion Temple. Look for signs pointing to the Winged Lion Temple, which is located about 700 meters uphill from the Great Temple. The path will be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views. Once you reach the Winged Lion Temple, you will be greeted by its impressive architecture.
