Getting There

• Walking

  From Wadi Rum Village, head south along the main path towards the Visitor Center. Continue walking until you reach the junction where you can see signs to various trails. Follow the sign for 'Geber Amra Canyon'. The path will take you through the stunning desert landscape. As you walk, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the unique rock formations and desert flora along the route. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will start to see the entrance to the canyon.

• Guided Tour

  If you prefer, you can hire a local Bedouin guide who offers tours to Geber Amra Canyon. You can arrange this at the Visitor Center in Wadi Rum Village. The guides will typically provide transportation by jeep to the canyon, allowing you to enjoy the scenery without the need for extensive walking. The jeep ride will take around 20-30 minutes directly to the canyon entrance, where your guide will lead you on a short hike through the stunning rock formations.

• Camel Ride

  For a unique experience, consider taking a camel ride from Wadi Rum Village to Geber Amra Canyon. Local camel operators will be available near the village. The ride typically lasts about 1 hour.
