Getting There

    Start from the main entrance of Konza Prairie Biological Station. Drive east on KS-177 N for approximately 8 miles. Then, take the exit toward Manhattan/I-70. Merge onto I-70 W. Continue for about 1.5 miles and take exit 313 for US-24 W toward Junction City. After exiting, merge onto US-24 W and continue for about 2 miles. Take the exit toward KS-18 W/Claflin Rd. Turn right onto Claflin Rd. The Riley County Historical Museum will be on your left at 2309 Claflin Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502.

    From Konza Prairie Biological Station, you will need to arrange for transportation to a nearby bus station. The nearest bus station is in Manhattan. Once in Manhattan, take the Flint Hills Area Transit (FHAT) bus service. Check their schedule for routes that go towards Claflin Rd.
