Walking
If you're starting from downtown Lawrence, walk north on Massachusetts Street until you reach 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Kasold Drive. Turn right on Kasold Drive and walk until you reach the intersection with 15th Street. Continue straight as Kasold Drive becomes N 1250 Rd. The Baker University Wetlands will be on your left at 1365 N 1250 Rd. The total walking distance is about 2.5 miles.
Biking
From downtown Lawrence, head north on Massachusetts Street to 9th Street. Turn left onto 9th Street and proceed to Kasold Drive. Turn right onto Kasold Drive and bike straight until you reach 15th Street. Continue along Kasold Drive, which will turn into N 1250 Rd. The wetlands will be on your left at 1365 N 1250 Rd. The bike ride is approximately 2.5 miles and is relatively flat, making it an enjoyable ride.
Public Transit
Take the Lawrence Transit bus route that services the area. You can catch the bus at various stops around downtown Lawrence. Check the current bus schedules for the most accurate route and timing; you will want to disembark at the stop closest to 15th Street and Kasold Drive. From the bus stop, walk north on Kasold Drive, which becomes N 1250 Rd, and the Baker University Wetlands will be on your left at 1365 N 1250 Rd.
