If you are in downtown Lawrence, start at the intersection of Massachusetts Street and 7th Street. Head north on Massachusetts Street for about four blocks until you reach 11th Street. Turn left onto 11th Street and continue west until you reach the intersection with Louisiana Street. Turn right onto Louisiana Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street and continue west until you reach the intersection with Kentucky Street. Here, you will find the Lawrence Public Library. From the library, head south on Kentucky Street until you reach 8th Street. Turn right onto 8th Street and continue for two blocks until you reach Massachusetts Street again. Turn left and walk south for a short distance until you see the intersection with 6th Street. Continue for one more block until you see the bus stop for the Lawrence Transit System (Route 6) heading towards the Kansas University area. Get on the bus and enjoy the ride to your destination. The New England Holocaust Memorial is not located in Lawrence, Kansas, so this option serves as a way to experience the local transit system.

From the Kansas Union at 1301 Jayhawk Blvd, take the free KU on Wheels bus service. Catch the 'Blue Route' towards the west. Ride until you reach the stop at 14th and Massachusetts, which is about a 15-minute ride. After disembarking, walk south along Massachusetts Street until you reach the intersection with 7th Street. Continue onto 6th Street and look for the Lawrence Transit System (Route 6) that connects to various attractions.
