From downtown Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street. Continue straight for about three blocks until you reach the intersection with 8th Street. Turn right onto 8th Street and walk for about two more blocks. The Samuel Adams Statue is located in Government Center, just past the intersection with Washington Street.

Start at the Burroughs Creek Trailhead located near the intersection of 23rd Street and Louisiana Street. Follow the Burroughs Creek Trail north until you reach the junction with the Lawrence Loop Trail. Take the Loop Trail east, which will lead you towards downtown. Once you reach downtown, follow Massachusetts Street heading east until you reach the intersection with 8th Street. Turn right and continue for two blocks to arrive at the Samuel Adams Statue in Government Center.
