Getting There

• Public Bus

  To reach Old Cowtown Museum from downtown Wichita, start at the nearest bus stop at Douglas & Broadway. Take the Wichita Transit Route 22 (which heads towards the Riverside area) and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop at 21st & Amidon. From there, walk west on 21st Street until you reach Museum Blvd. Turn right on Museum Blvd and continue walking until you see the entrance to Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 Museum Blvd. The total journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you're cycling from downtown Wichita, head north on Broadway Avenue until you reach the intersection with 21st Street. Turn left onto 21st Street and continue heading west. You'll pass through several neighborhoods; enjoy the scenery! Once you reach the intersection with Amidon, turn right onto Amidon and then a quick left onto Museum Blvd. Follow Museum Blvd until you arrive at Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 Museum Blvd. The bike ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Walking

  For a walking route from downtown Wichita, start at the intersection of Douglas and Broadway. Head north on Broadway until you reach 21st Street. Turn left onto 21st Street and walk west until you reach Amidon Avenue. Turn right on Amidon and walk until you reach Museum Blvd. Turn left onto Museum Blvd and continue walking until you arrive at Old Cowtown Museum at 1865 Museum Blvd. This walk will take approximately 60-75 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes!
