Continue along the road until you reach the intersection with the Almaty-Medeu road (A2). Turn right and follow the A2 road towards Almaty. As you approach the city, look for signs directing you towards Kok Tobe Hill Station. Follow the signs to the Medeu District. Once you reach the base of Kok Tobe Hill, you will need to park your car in the designated parking area. From there, you can take the funicular railway up to Kok Tobe Hill Station, which offers stunning views of the city.

To reach Kok Tobe Hill Station via public transportation from Big Almaty Lake, first, find a bus or taxi that will take you to the Medeu District. You can catch a bus heading towards Almaty from the main bus stop near the lake. Once in Medeu, you will need to take bus number 12 or 7, which will drop you off at the base of Kok Tobe Hill. From there, you can either hike up the hill or take the funicular railway that takes you directly to Kok Tobe Hill Station. The funicular ride costs around 1,000 KZT (Kazakhstani Tenge).
