If you're driving from central locations in Kazakhstan, take the M-36 highway towards Almaty. Once you arrive in Almaty, follow the signs to Almaty International Airport. After passing the airport, look for signs directing you to the Medeu area. You will take a right turn onto Kerey and Zhanibek Khans Street and follow it until you reach the entrance to Shymbulak Ski Resort, located at Kerey and Zhanibek Khans St 558/1. The road to the resort is well-maintained, but be cautious of the mountain roads, especially in winter.

From Almaty, you can take a bus or a taxi to reach the Shymbulak Ski Resort. Use public transport to get to the Medeu area. Buses 28 and 12 frequently run from the city center to Medeu.
