If you're traveling by car within Kolsai Lakes National Park, start from the Kolsai Lakes entrance. Drive along the main park road towards the village of Saty. After approximately 12 km, take a right turn onto the road leading to the Azatskiye Gory. Continue on this road for about 6 km until you reach the coordinates 87V9+PF, Azat. The area is well-marked with signs, and you will find parking available near the trailhead.

For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Almaty to the village of Saty. Buses frequently depart from the Sayakhat Bus Station in Almaty. The fare is approximately 1,500 KZT and the journey takes around 4-5 hours. Once in Saty, you can hire a local taxi (approx. 3,000 KZT) to drive you to Azatskiye Gory, which is about 6 km away. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
