Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Shymkent. Head north on the A-2 highway towards the town of Kentau. Continue on the A-2 for approximately 150 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Kentau, turn onto the A-11 road heading towards the town of Turkistan. Drive for about 50 kilometers until you reach Turkistan. From Turkistan, follow the signs for the A-2 road towards the city of Kyzylorda. After around 30 kilometers, you will find signs for the Singing Dune. The location coordinates are 43.8616417 latitude and 78.570115 longitude. There may be a small parking fee at the entrance of the National Park, so be prepared with some cash.

To reach Singing Dune by public transport, begin your journey in Shymkent. Take a bus or minibus heading towards Turkistan; this journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once in Turkistan, you can catch a taxi or locate a shared taxi (marshrutka) that goes to the Singing Dune. The shared taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and should cost around 500-1000 KZT. Ensure you confirm the fare beforehand, and mention your destination clearly. It's advisable to visit the Singing Dune early in the day, as it is approximately a 2-kilometer walk from the drop-off point.
