Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the closest major city in the Syr Darya Basin, such as Shymkent. From Shymkent, take the M-32 highway heading east towards Turkistan. Continue on this road for about 150 km until you reach the turnoff for Shogirli. Turn onto the road leading to Shogirli and follow the signs for Syrdarya-Turkistan memlekettik өңирlik tabiғи parki. The park is located approximately 10 km from Shogirli, and you will need to follow the dirt roads into the park area. Be prepared for some rough terrain, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Shymkent to Turkistan. The buses depart frequently from the central bus station in Shymkent. Once you arrive in Turkistan, you will need to hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach Shogirli. Make sure to negotiate the taxi fare beforehand, as prices can vary. After reaching Shogirli, you can ask the driver to take you to the entrance of Syrdarya-Turkistan memlekettik өңирlik tabiғи parki, which is approximately 10 km from the town.

  If you are already in Turkistan, you can hire a taxi directly to Syrdarya-Turkistan memlekettik өңирlik tabiғи parki. This is a convenient option, especially if you're traveling in a group. The drive from Turkistan to the park takes approximately 30 minutes. Ensure the driver is familiar with the location, as it may not be well-known to all. It is advisable to confirm the price before starting your journey.
