If you're traveling by car from the main entrance of Turgen Gorge, head east on the main road (A351) for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the village of Turar. Turn left onto this road and continue for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass several scenic views of the gorge on your right. Look for the sign indicating 'Gorge Kaskelen' and an unnamed road (2J39+RRR) to your right. Turn onto this road, and drive for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area, where you can leave your car and begin your hike into the gorge.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Almaty to the village of Turgen. The journey typically costs around 500 KZT and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Turgen, you may need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local driver to take you to the entrance of Gorge Kaskelen. The taxi fare to the gorge is usually around 1,500 KZT. Upon reaching the entrance at 2J39+RRR, you can start your hike into the gorge.

If you prefer to hike, it's possible to walk from the parking area at the end of the unnamed road (2J39+RRR) into Gorge Kaskelen. The trek is approximately 3 kilometers and will take around 1 hour, depending on your pace.
