If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the Daniel Boone National Forest area. From the nearest major town, London, KY, take US-25 N for about 10 miles. Follow signs for KY-80 W, then merge onto KY-80 W. After approximately 12 miles, look for the entrance to the Dog Slaughter Falls trailhead on your right, just past the intersection with KY-11. There is a small parking area available for visitors. Note that there may be a small fee for parking or entering certain areas of the National Forest, so be prepared with cash.
