Getting There

• Car

  From anywhere in Daniel Boone National Forest, make your way to US-27 South. If you're near the southern part of the forest, head towards Somerset and then take US-27 South. Continue driving for approximately 40 miles until you reach the intersection with KY-70. Turn left onto KY-70 and follow this road for about 10 miles. You will then reach Campbellsville. Once in Campbellsville, look for Park Office Road, which is just off KY-55. Turn right onto Park Office Road, and you will find Green River Lake State Park at 179 Park Office Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

• Public Transportation

  While public transportation options are limited in rural Kentucky, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus to Campbellsville from larger cities like Louisville or Lexington. Upon arriving in Campbellsville, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Green River Lake State Park. The park is approximately 15 minutes away from the bus station by car. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may not run frequently.
