Getting There

Walking

If you're in downtown Henderson, start by heading south on Water Street towards 1st Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Green Street. Turn left onto Green Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. Turn right onto 2nd Street and continue straight for another 0.3 miles. You will arrive at the intersection with U.S. Route 41. From there, you can either take a bus or continue walking. If you choose to walk, follow U.S. Route 41 North for about 1 mile until you reach the bridge over the Ohio River. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Rocky Gap Road. The Willow Springs Picnic Area is located on your right after you enter the area.
Public Transit

From the Henderson Bus Terminal located at 100 1st Street, take the Bus Line 4 towards Evansville. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, then get off at the stop at U.S. Route 41. From there, walk north along U.S. Route 41 for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for Rocky Gap Road. Follow the road, and you will arrive at the Willow Springs Picnic Area.
