Getting There

• Driving

  If you are driving in Inner Bluegrass, head towards downtown Lexington. From Main Street, turn onto East Third Street. Continue for about two blocks, and the Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center will be on your left at 300 E Third St, Lexington, KY 40508. There is street parking available, but be mindful of any parking signs as some areas may have time restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center via public transportation, locate the nearest Lextran bus stop. You can take the #1 - Blue route or #5 - Red route, both of which have stops near East Third Street. Check the Lextran schedule for the most current times and routes. Once you arrive at the stop closest to East Third Street, walk east for a couple of minutes to reach the theatre at 300 E Third St. A single bus fare costs $1.00.

• Walking

  If you are already in downtown Lexington, the Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center is a pleasant walk away. From the Lexington Public Library, walk east on East Main Street, then turn left onto East Third Street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find the theatre at 300 E Third St. This option is cost-free and allows you to enjoy the sights of the vibrant downtown area.
