Public Transit
Start at the Lexington Transit Center located at 215 E Main St. Take the Blue Line bus towards the Kentucky Horse Park. Ride for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop at the intersection of New Circle Rd and Richmond Rd. From there, transfer to the #12 bus towards the Southland Dr. Transfer to the #23 bus towards the Kentucky River Overlook. Ride for about 15 minutes, then disembark at the Kentucky River Overlook stop.

Bicycle
If you are near downtown Lexington, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs. Head south on South Limestone St towards E High St, then take a right onto E High St. Continue straight until you reach Richmond Rd. Turn left on Richmond Rd and follow it until you reach New Circle Rd. Use the bike lane to navigate until you reach the entrance of the Kentucky River Overlook, which is located just off New Circle Rd.

Walking
If you're starting from the downtown area, walk east along E Main St towards the intersection with Richmond Rd. Continue onto Richmond Rd and walk for about 2 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. When you reach the intersection with New Circle Rd, look for the pedestrian crossing signs. Continue walking on the side of the road; eventually, you will see signs directing you to the Kentucky River Overlook, which is a short walk off the main road.
