Car
If you are driving from Nyeri, head southeast on the A2 road towards Nairobi. Continue on A2 until you reach the junction with Mombasa Road (A104). Take a right turn onto Mombasa Road and drive for approximately 36 km. Look for signs directing you towards Athi River and keep an eye out for African Heritage House on your left, about 2 km before Athi River town. Parking is available on-site.

To reach African Heritage House via public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Nyeri and board a bus heading to Nairobi. Once you reach Nairobi, transfer to a bus that goes towards Mombasa. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Athi River near the African Heritage House. The fare from Nyeri to Nairobi is approximately KSh 300-400, and from Nairobi to Athi River, it should be around KSh 150-200. After getting off at the stop near Athi River, you may need to walk for about 10-15 minutes along Mombasa Road to reach the African Heritage House.
