Car
If you are driving from Nyeri, take the A2 highway heading southeast towards Nyahururu. After approximately 50 km, you will reach the junction with the A104 road. Take the A104 and continue towards the town of Nanyuki. From Nanyuki, follow the signs leading to Mtwapa. Once in Mtwapa, navigate to the coordinates 3Q4C+GCW. Look for local signage or use a navigation app to reach your final destination.
Public Transportation
To reach Jumba La Mtwana via public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri to Nanyuki. The fare will typically be around KES 300. In Nanyuki, transfer to another matatu heading towards Mtwapa. The fare for this leg should be about KES 200. Once in Mtwapa, you can either walk or take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to the coordinates 3Q4C+GCW, which should cost approximately KES 100.
Boda-Boda
If you are already in Mtwapa, you can hire a boda-boda to take you directly to Jumba La Mtwana. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand; it should cost around KES 100-200, depending on your starting point in Mtwapa. The journey will be quick and will take about 10-15 minutes.
