Car
If you're driving from Mombasa, take the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway (A109). After approximately 450 km, follow the signs to Nairobi city center. Upon entering Nairobi, take Kenyatta Avenue and continue until you reach Uhuru Highway. Turn left onto Uhuru Highway and follow the signs to Uhuru Gardens, located near the Nairobi Railway Museum. Parking is available at the site, but be prepared to pay a small fee, generally around 100-200 KES.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
To reach Uhuru Gardens via matatu, head to any major bus terminal in Mombasa (like Mwembe Tayari or Mombasa Terminus) and take a matatu heading to Nairobi. The fare is typically around 500-700 KES, depending on the service. Once you arrive at the Nairobi Terminus, transfer to a matatu heading to Uhuru Park or the city center. Alight at the City Market or Uhuru Park and walk to Uhuru Gardens, which is about a 15-minute walk from there.
