If you are traveling by car, head towards the Mombasa-Kangundo road (A14). From Mombasa, take the A14 towards the town of Ukunda. Continue straight on the A14 for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Diani Beach and turn onto Diani Road. Follow Diani Road until you reach the junction with C106. Turn left onto C106, and continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, which is located at VFP4+R52.

To reach Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary using public transport, start by taking a matatu (shared minibus) from Mombasa to Ukunda. These matatus frequently depart from Mombasa's central bus station. The fare is approximately 200-300 KES. Once you arrive in Ukunda, you can either take a taxi to the sanctuary or catch another matatu heading towards Diani Beach. Request to be dropped off at the junction with C106, then walk or take a short taxi ride to the sanctuary which is about 10 kilometers away. Ensure you confirm the location with the driver.
