Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from Moshi Town. Head east on B1 (also known as the Nairobi - Arusha Road). Continue on B1 for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the junction for the A23 road towards Tanga. Turn left onto the A23. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs directing you towards Tiwi. Follow the local roads; they will lead you through the scenic landscape until you reach African Pool Map Natural in Tiwi. Ensure you have GPS navigation enabled, as some smaller roads may not be well-marked.

• Public Transportation (Matatus)

  From Moshi Town, you can take a Matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Tanga. These Matatus regularly depart from the Moshi bus station. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Tiwi. The fare is approximately 300-500 KES depending on the matatu. Once you reach Tiwi, you may need to walk or hire a local taxi to get directly to African Pool Map Natural, which is located a short distance away from the main road.
