    If you're driving from Moshi, head east on the A23 road towards Arusha. After approximately 20 kilometers, take a left turn onto the B1 road towards Tanga. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Chemka Hot Springs (Kikuletwa Hot Springs) along the way. Turn off the main road onto a dirt path (GPS coordinates: -3.4444885, 37.1938897) and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach the hot springs. The entrance fee is approximately 10,000 TZS for foreigners.

  • Public Transportation

    From Moshi, take a daladala (shared minibus) heading towards Arusha. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Chemka Hot Springs. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the nearest stop, you may need to walk or hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to cover the remaining distance (about 5 kilometers) to the hot springs.
