Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're in Moshi town, rent a bicycle and head towards the Marangu road. Follow the road until you reach the junction with the B1 highway. Turn right onto the B1 and continue straight. Keep an eye out for the signposts directing you towards Rundugai. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you'll see signs for Kikuletwa Springs. Turn left and follow the dirt road until you arrive at the springs.

  • Walking

    From Moshi town center, head east towards the Marangu road. Walk along the road until you reach the B1 highway junction. Once there, turn right and continue walking straight. Look for the signs for Rundugai, which will guide you. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk there, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. After about an hour, you'll see signs pointing left towards Kikuletwa Springs; follow the dirt road to the springs.

  • Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)

    In Moshi, you can easily find a motorbike taxi (Boda Boda). Tell the driver you want to go to Kikuletwa Springs in Rundugai. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the springs.

  • Public Transport (Daladala)

    From the Moshi bus terminal, look for a daladala (shared minibus) that is heading to Marangu. Board the daladala and inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Rundugai stop. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Rundugai, you may need to walk a short distance or negotiate with a local taxi to take you to Kikuletwa Springs, which is approximately 10 minutes away.
