If you are travelling by car, start your journey from Moshi. Head southeast on B1 towards the town of Taveta. Continue on B1 for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the junction for the road leading to Lake Jipe. Turn left onto the road towards Lake Jipe and follow the signs. The road may be unpaved in places, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to Lake Jipe, where you can find parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Lake Jipe via public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Moshi to Taveta. The matatu will drop you off at the Taveta bus station. From there, you can catch another matatu heading towards Lake Jipe. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to Lake Jipe as not all routes may go directly there. The fare from Moshi to Taveta is about 3,000 TZS, and from Taveta to Lake Jipe, it will be around 1,500 TZS. Once you arrive at Lake Jipe, you may need to walk a short distance to get to the lake's edge.
