After approximately 35 km, you will reach the town of Nanyuki. From Nanyuki, follow the signs to Mount Kinangop, which is approximately a 20 km drive. Note that the last stretch may involve rough roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Parking is usually available near the trailhead at the base of Mount Kinangop.
