Getting There

Bicycle
If you're in the heart of Kisumu, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start at Kenyatta Sports Ground, heading northeast on Kenyatta Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Oginga Odinga Street. Turn left onto Oginga Odinga Street and cycle until you reach the intersection with the Kisumu - Kakamega Road. Turn right onto this road and continue straight until you see signs for the Impala Park. Follow the signs to the entrance of the park, where the camping site is located.

Walking
From Kisumu city center, walk towards the Kisumu Museum located on the corner of Obama Road and Oginga Odinga Street. After visiting the museum, head south down Obama Road until you reach the Kisumu - Kakamega Road. Cross the road and continue walking southwest along the path for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Impala Park. The camping site is located inside the park.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From Kisumu city center, head to the Matatu stage near the Kenya Commercial Bank. Board a Matatu heading towards Kakamega. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary stop. After getting off, walk straight ahead for about 500 meters, following the signs to the Impala Park Camping Site. The entrance will be on your right.
