Walking
From the center of Kondele, head southeast towards the main road (Kisumu-Kakamega Road). Walk along this road for about 10-15 minutes. You will come across a junction with signs pointing to the Kisumu Museum. Follow the signs; the museum is located just a short walk down the road on your right. You'll need to cross a small street to reach the entrance.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda boda from any of the nearby boda boda stands in Kondele. Simply tell the driver 'Kisumu Museum' or show them the address 'VQQ6+X6W, Railways, Kisumu'. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The cost is usually around 50-100 Kenyan Shillings (KES). Make sure to negotiate the fare before the ride.

Matatu (Shared Minibus)
You can also take a matatu to get close to the museum. Head to the nearest matatu stage in Kondele and look for a matatu heading towards Kisumu town. Inform the conductor you want to get off at the Kisumu Museum stop. The fare will generally be around 40 KES. Once you get off, follow the signs or ask locals for directions, as it's just a short walk from the matatu stop.
